Not long ago, Dell refreshed their line-up of laptops the Intel’s latest Skylake processors. Among the many new laptops available two of them caught our eye and tugged at our gaming heartstrings.

Inspiron 15 7000

Jamming in some of the better components like the GTX 960M with 4GB of ram, and a 1TB sized storage, for just under SGD$2000, it is not hard to see why this will be the choice for students, and just about anyone who only ever needs DOTA 2 or any other MOBA type game in their lives. From looking at the specs alone, we wont be surprised if it’ll power most of the latest games today at high or even ultra settings.

Dell XPS 15 (Oh… this is my favourite for sure)

Claimed by the company as the world’s smallest 15.6″ laptop, the XPS 15 is made of carbon fiber and machined aluminium to stay light-weight, while fitting in premium parts like a GTX 960 (2gb ram only though), a 4K resolution screen, and a 512GB SSD. Performance will not be a problem with this skinny beast, but what won me over was the InfinityEdge display that has an almost bezel-less (they used borderless) look, but seriously, you need to see this laptop in person to be awed. So if you’re the kind who’s a gamer but obviously will get the death-stare bringing an Alienware into a corporate meeting room. This is the one you want to get.

Hey Dell, can I trade in my Alienware for this XPS 15? :(

So those two items are available now on the Dell Singapore store with the new refreshed consumer laptops. They make good choices to add to that Christmas shopping list if you’re buying it for someone special or just hoping to pamper yourself.
